| Tasting notes | On release, it is a bright lemon-gold colour. The abundant aromas and flavours evoke impressions of ripe cantaloupe melon, mango, pineapple, lychees, and manuka honey. On the palate, the wine is rich and unctuous. Underneath this, however, there is a streak of minerality and fine acidity that keep it fresh, lively and refined, drawing out its lingering after flavours. |

The Donaldson Family have been seriously involved in viticulture and wine-making for over 40 years. Founder Ivan Donaldson planted the first Canterbury vineyard in 1976 and went on to establish Pegasus Bay in 1985 with his wife Christine. It is a true family business with all four of their sons and two spouses involved,managing various aspects.Our aim is to grow grapes of the highest quality,which fully express the features of the vineyard,and to handle these with the utmost respect.
