|Tasting notes||Supreme elegance! Beautiful color, with intense and bright reflections. The diversity of the aromas is striking: wild cherry, nutmeg, camphor wood, fine leather...Later on, the wine takes on a subtle aroma of truffle, producing the most varied palette. With its perfect balance between tannin and acidity, the wine has a fleshy, sturdy body. Powerful and long aftertaste. A wealth of harmonious sensations characterizes this great Burgundy.|
Founded in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin cellars have spread from the historical cellars of the Dukes of Burgundy and the Kings of France in Beaune (12th-18th century) to the Moulin de Vaudon (an 18th century watermill), close to the Grand Cru vineyards of Chablis.
Self-imposed discipline, a desire to learn, a deep sense of values, passion and daring are the qualities that have been handed down through the generations, together with the art of winemaking and an unfailing sense of quality. Today, the fourth generation of the Drouhin family, headed by Frédéric Drouhin, is now at the helm. Each of them has his role to play in imposing the family "Charter of Excellence".
