|Tasting notes||Good aromatic intensity, displaying typical Sauvignon Blanc varietal notes: tropical fruit, mango, pineapple and peach. These fresh aromas are joined by other, more herbaceous ones – like fig leaf and asparagus – over undertones of vanilla and coconut imparted by oak aging. Entry to the palate: rich and intense, sweet in its expression, with good acidity. As the wine unfolds across the palate, it reveals sensual notes of tropical fruit, green aromas and the elegant undertones of aging. A remarkably long finish.|
|Food matching||Ideal with seafood, fish, poultry.|

Moreover Mr. Miguel A. Torres was given the Wine Star Lifetime Achievement 2012 Award by the prestigious American magazine Wine Enthusiast . In September 2012, the 5th generation of the family, Miguel Torres Maczassek, took over the position of General Manager of the group. The best wines are achieved by listening to nature. That's why more than twenty years ago, we chose the privileged surroundings of Fransola, a historical estate located in one of the highest areas of the Penedès, to plant one of our most highly renowned vineyards. Ice cold nights and mild days provide an excellent climate for growing vines, giving us the best sauvignon blanc grapes with which we produce this elegant, balanced wine.
