Tasting notes | The intense and brilliant body is bright pink in colour. The bubbles are fine, and the mousse persistent. The full nose, wonderfully expressive, is both fresh and young. It gives off aromas of red fruits (freshly crushed wild raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant). On the palate, this wine strikes a fine balance of a velvet texture and full body taste. The flavours are reminiscent of fresh, crisp red fruits. The palate can be summed up in four words: lively, fruity, fresh and elegant, as only a rosé blend can be. |

Originally created in 1734, Taittinger Champagne House was purchased by Pierre Taittinger in 1932. It is one of the few remaining Champagne houses to be managed by people who bear its name. In 1935s, Pierre Taittinger boldly introduced Chardonnay as the dnant variety in Taittinger blends, crafting the renowned house style.
Champagne Taittinger's respect for family traditions ensures that top quality is a constant priority which is reflected in its reputation. In 2006, Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger presided over the destinies of Champagne Taittinger, remaining faithful to family and champagne-making tradition. Taittinger owns a great vineyard located in the great regions of Champagne, covering 288.84 hectares in 34 different vineyards.
Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs is made of 100% Chardonnay grapes from the highest rated vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, exclusively from the first pressing, before maturing on its lees for a minimum of 8 years in the cellars. Robert Parker once rated for its 2002 vintage 98 points, saying it's "a vivid kaleidoscope of pure Chardonnay aromas and flavors opens up in the glass".
